You will learn the basic moves of hoop dance that will become your foundation! You will loosen up your body, build strength and confidence! Discover self-expression through hoop dancing!

Running is the best activity to help maximize fat loss, but most new runners progress too quickly and experience overuse injuries such as shin splints and knee pain. These programs will progress to avoid injuries and you will learn the proper way to warm up before and the important stretches to do post-runs.

We will train by capitalizing on our body’s natural reactions to typical physical violence, making learning more efficient and effective. Over the course of twelve classes you will safely build intensity and connect concepts to multiple scenarios. The material will be engrained with review and additions each week. Expect improvements in your strikes and defenses with detailed and individual attention. The course will leave you with more confidence in your power and ability to respond appropriately against any size attacker, with a well-rounded understanding of the concepts around personal security. Material from punches to dragging scenarios will be thoroughly practiced, along with awareness and protection against weapon threats.
