Personal Training in Portland
Northwest Women’s Fitness offers club members a variety of different personal training options as part of the unique fitness experience that we provide in Portland. There are many ways we can work together to help you achieve your goals. Your options include private personal training client only, joining as a Fitness Club Member, a Group Training Client only, or a combination of both. The variety of personal training programs that we offer is flexible and accommodates your schedule and your needs.
Private Personal Training
Some of our clients train privately with a trainer two to four times per week; private personal training is available in half-hour or hour sessions. Some women choose to get started with a personal trainer who designs a program for them to follow on their own. Your personal fitness program can be your only routine or you can combine it with classes you choose to attend. Then you can just see your personal trainer once every one to two months to monitor progress and make updates to your program. Then there are some clients who do a combination of both – they might see a trainer once per week to ensure a tough workout and to hold them accountable weekly, and then the rest of the time they work out on their own. We will customize a flexible fitness plan to help you achieve results based on your goals, interests, current fitness level, time, and financial budget.

What Types of Personal Training Programs are Available?
Choose from a variety of our personal fitness training programs to find the right fit for you. We are always available to customize your personal training schedule and routine to meet your health and fitness goals.
Personal Training – One-on-one customized workouts that can focus on cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning, flexibility, nutrition or a combination of all of these depending on your goals, needs, strengths and weaknesses. Workouts can take place within the club; however based on your preferences home personal trainers are available and can customize a work out for you that you can even do outdoors or at work. When you sign up with a personal trainer, you can expect regular education, support, and guidance. Your personal trainer will hold you accountable while also ensuring safety, variety, efficiency and effectiveness. Your program is based on your history, goals, individual needs and lifestyle.
Partner Training – The same great benefits of private personal training, but you get to share the session and the cost with one other person.
Small Group Training – Group training reduces the cost significantly and allows you to train with friends and family or can help you meet new friends. There is a minimum 2 people and maximum of 4 people. Current schedule Small Group Training.
Specialty Small Group Training – Specialized sessions each with a different focus… Posture & Balance, TRX Suspension, Boxing – beginning to advanced, HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training, and more.
